Default Doesn't support dual core?

I downloaded an intel version of MAC, and i read online that it does not support dual cores.. i need to disable one core.. is it true?

I've seen these computers for sale on apple.com with Intel dual-core processors. So I would definitely think it does support dual-core.

What problems are you having exactly?

So this means he downloaded the Operating System then? Sorry I am not very familiar with Mac if it's an operating system; I thought Macs were based off of Unix.

LoL. I needed to download it for it to work on intel.

The problem I'm having is that once it boots it asks me to reboot again, and /i read online that MAC does not support dual, you have to disable one core....

DUH really can't get it :S maybe it's just a problem with the installation.

Therein lies one of a number of problems that exist with Macs. That is why there never grab me

Well I installed it on vmware using a tutorial and in fact I had to choose one core emulation... for it to work.
