Valor is on a distinguished road
Default Restarting Pro-FTP

From the command prompt (using SSH to access the server) is it possible to restart proftp daemon? I know it is possible from WHM inside of Cpanel but I'd prefer to do things the old fashion way because it is faster.

With WHM a directory at /scripts/ contains several scripts that allow you to start/restart services. For proftp use:

Code:
# ./restartsrv_proftpd
