Yeah.. the thing is that making something secure enough takes a lot of time while hacking it takes even less (usually) even games.. usually get cracked in under 24 hours of it's release.

Yes.. very true. At least in most cases in Linux we don't have to worry too much of backdoors etc... as most of the programs are open source.

Linux, from what I have learned, is far more secure than other type of OS.
The question is whether or not Linux is more secure than Unix. I know that Linux just had to have a kernal update because of a vulnerability recently...

Windows, however, is much more vulnerable to hackers.

I personally never used Unix. But maybe they are a little more secure.

Yeah, hacking into the system is probably possible as it would be difficult to make it impossible!

First of all, most users don't risk being hacked. Do you have something of value for a hacker? Then yes, you might be hacked. But if you don't then you don't have to worry about a thing...

I think Linux is the less hackable of all the three major OS-es, but I could be mistaken.

It's clearly the least hackable of the three most known os's. We can't be sure on what the government or the army have in those vaults of them
