Default Who command output

When you type "who" or "w" in the console you get an output like:

Code:
USER TTY FROM LOGIN@ IDLE JCPU PCPU WHAT
root pts/0 10.22.32 20:47 0.00s 0.01s 0.00s w
What does the TTY - pts/0 mean? Is tty type? If so, what is pts/0?

TTY is a type of port. I'm unsure what pts/0 stands for or means.

I can't find what PTS means either but I'm guessing the "t" means terminal?

Here is a quote:

List only process data associated with term. Terminal identifiers are specified as a device file name, and an identifier. For example, term/a, or pts/0.
