Exclamation Uninstalling Opensuse11

I have dual boot system.Windows xp SP2 and Opensuse11.Now I dont want opensuse11.Can any one suggest steps for uninstalling Opensuse11.I have mounted windows xp partitions.I want my xp as it is.

Just remove the partition, that will remove Linux.

Don't forget to combine the free partition space back into your main partition. Otherwise, it will just be wasted space.

I would suggest that first you set your XP partition as the booting partition, then just format the other partition.

If it boots from the Linux partition and your delete that, it won't detect the XP partition? So you will have a computer that does not boot?

Yes but you can fix it by restoring the master boot partition. It is easier to just do as TotalPenguin stated above.

Yeah, that is another option.. but that can be classified for advanced users... because it requires you to boot from a CD etc... but both of them should work.

Well, you can boot with a windows XP CD, boot in repair mode (console) and there is a command to fix the MBR, just write that command, confirm it and you are done!
