My plain Suse 10.1 nicely automounted the USB memory stick, and added it to the Places menu in Gnome, having mounted it on a mountpoint under /media.
Recently I added software updates to apply all the available patches etc to Suse 10.1. My hard disk changed from /dev/hda to /dev/sda, and the USB stick no longer automagically mounts. I can manually mount it (as /dev/sdab1). Any ideas how to get back the old behaviour? I can't find anything in any /etc or /proc files that appears relevant. |
