Default Printers campatible with Linux?

Well I have a canon i250 printer and I can't get it to work with Linux. Any ideas from where I can get the drivers or something?

When you plug in the printer what happens? When you try to print a document or something no printers are found?

How are you setting up the printer? You should be able to use a generic type driver.

What Linux are you in? Some have custom apps to install printers.

If you do end up needing a driver you should be able to get one here

Have you tried their website? They might have a driver pack for Linux there.
