Default List of hardware

Anyone know where I can find a list of hardware that is guaranteed to work with Linux?

Well most of the hardware DOES work with linux, all you need is the drivers, but usually you won't need any.

Great lists. Some people say that it's hard to make hardware work properly in Linux, some say it's easy, I guess that you don't know unless you try.

I think you should check the distro itself. Different distros tend to have more or less adjusted software.

OpenSUSE is great as well. I am using version 11.0 now and I have no problems at all.

Oh, hell yeah The GUI is a killer I think it's cooler than Vista, but this is just my opinion, though

The GUI/Desktop Environment is the last thing I care about when I choose a distribution. It's always possible to change the GUI/DE if you don't like the default one. I will rather look at the functionality of the distribution.
