Talking Best program for music

I use Amarok both in Gnome and KDE boxes, I am really impressed by this amazing program. Which one do you use?

I use Rhythmbox which ships with Ubuntu as standard. I've used Amarok before, but I find Rhythmbox more simple, and better.

Yeah, I have used Rhythmbox, too. But amarok kinda recalls me of my beloved Winamp

Yes, that's true. Have you tried out Audacious or XMMS?
Both are very Winamp-alike. I've only experience with the former myself. I've heard a lot about the latter though, so that's why I mentioned it.

XMMS is very skinnable and very similar to the Winamp program. Unfortunately, I find the GUI too small for me

Hehe, okay. :-)

The reason why I don't like amarok is because of its KDE-ish look. I've always hated the way KDE looks and behaves. I'm sure it's configurable, and it could look and behave like I want it to do. But why should I baffle with configurations, when GNOME-ish or others does what I want?

I like XMMS. IMO it is the best one for Linux and has just as many features as Windows Media Player.

Well, I adore KDE 4.04 that comes with openSUSE 11. Absolute beauty!
