Prog is on a distinguished road
Default updatedb and locate

When I use the command locate I often get an out of date db error. I then have to run updatedb which takes a long time. Is there anyway to automate the process?

I found an option that I set to "1" in the updatedb shell file. It was in /etc/cron.daily/
