Default How do you install packages with Sabayon?

Its not using the .deb package manager, its not using the RPM package manager so how do I install things? Do I just use tar.gz , extract and compile them?

I tried to use emerge to installed a "Gentoo" tar.gz since sabayon is gentoo based but.... These are my results:

Code:
emerge opera-9.27-20080331.6-shared-qt.i386-en.tar.gz
Calculating dependencies |
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "opera-9.27-20080331.6-shared-qt.i386-en.tar.gz".
Anyone know the answer?

You can use ebuils (as your other post metions) but I generally just download and install via the .tar.gz files for Sabayon.
