Well as every OS this too has it's ups and downs. Well I loved how quick and easily I could manage and split my HD in partitions, I had 2 partitions 100GB which had XP, and 49GB for My Documents and Backups.
Then I split the 100GB into 10GB and 90GB(I installed Windows First, so I done this from the windows setup, the rest was done from Ubuntu), 90GB for windows and 10GB for Ubuntu, then from that 10GB ext3 I made a 266Mb (or something like that) SWAP Partition.
And I just made '/' in the ext3 partition. Then it installed quickly, restarted and then grub came up
I edited grub to make XP my default selection, I learned this @ School.
And then I went to work happily, Because I had an XP and Ubuntu dual boot.
When I returned I already had Setup.List corrupted :S so I went to sleep because I could not find out what was the problem. Now I returned from school and found a fix for that, and I am very pleased. Why?
Because I plugged in my Logitech USB Headset and it worked, I installed several apps, codecs for MP3 and the NVIDIA drivers, and then I selected Extra as Visual Effects, and dang I am AMAZED!! Then I inserted my blusoleil USB and it just worked, again. But now I was really amazed because windows gave me a hard time to install it's drivers, it's application etc.., but linux just worked!! and I paired it without any problems.
Well the only things that bug / ed me so far is/are/were:-
The corrupted list
The installation of some applications is too complicated with the Terminal.
Besides that I am AMAZED, and Finally after months of thinking about this, I made a dual boot... and I am satisfied!!
