Default Instant Messanger

In windows I used Trillian to communicate and connect to several different chat servers like AOL, ICQ, Gmail Chat and MSN. Is there anything like that in Linux or do I just need to have 4 separate clients running?

Give Pidgin a try as well. That is the one that I use most often.

I use pidgin as well. Seems to be the best available for Linux.
