Default Making your Linux look like Vista

So I was browsing around reading about Linux and came across another forum with a link to several types of Linux Desktops.

One of them actually makes your x-windows look exactly like Vista which I am going to try

As quirky an idea as that might be, why would you want to do that?! The reason I have always run a linux box is to AVOID the world of MS, so I certainly wouldn't want to make my nice system look like the beast....

I think it actually looks pretty neat. If Linux could look more appealing then I believe more people would use it.

How does linux not look appealing? Have you ever sat a nix box and a windows box side by side, same monitor's and used the same back rounds? Nix is quite nicer looking, you just need to know how to work it.

No, I haven't ever set them side-by-side. Maybe I should just to see

I saw this on another forum this morning. It looks just like Vista.

I am a console/shell guy. I rarely ever use a GUI.

I really cannot stand anything that MS makes. So I wouldn't want to make my *nix system looking windows like. I have run on dual boot, XP and Mandrake and really and truly I prefer the look of Mandrake to the cartoonish windows. The child like look is just annoying. Linux is cleaner and more professional looking.

While I agree, I still want to try it out. It does look neat.
