Default Making a bootdisk

How do I make a bootdisk, do I just copy the vmlinuz file to a disk?

Default mkbootdisk

Use the mkbootdisk command to create an emergency boot disk in Linux.

Code:
mkbootdisk `uname -r`
It will prompt you to enter a disk.
