Smile Linux XP 2006 SR2

Linux XP is a Fedora-based, beginner-friendly desktop distribution that mimics the look and feel of Windows XP and provides extensive compatibility features with the Microsoft operating system. An updated version, now with support for English, has been released: "We just made the first international release of Linux XP Desktop!" The many new features in this release include: experimental network manager, system information dialogue, Microsoft Active Directory integration, system updates dialogue, and upgrades of several major applications. Linux XP uses a customised edition of GNOME with XP-like icons and theme.

Linux XP Desktop is a full-featured PC operating system like Windows? but based on the stable and secure Linux platform. Why choose Linux XP Desktop?
1 - It's not vulnerable to viruses, spyware and many other common threats.
Operating systems can become very complex with threats like spam, viruses and other vulnerabilities within them. Linux XP Desktop is very simple, very reliable and very secure. It will give you back your computer and will create new possibilities for you.

2 - Linux XP Desktop comes with a complete software bundle.
OpenOffice suite, planning, project management, e-mail, calendar/todo, Internet, ICQ/MSN/etc, audio/video conferencing, file sharing and exchange, raster and vector image editors, movie and music players, internet radio, TV, dictionaries, software development tools.

3 - You can use Windows? applications and data.
Need Internet Explorer or other Windows applications? Just install and run them under Linux XP Desktop! Thousands of Windows applications are tested for compatibility. You can use data from your Windows data drives, share folders or even logon to Windows? domains.
