Grub is on a distinguished road
Default Good FTP client for Linux

I've tried a couple of FTP clients and can't seem to find a good one. Most crash and are buggy. What do you guys use?

I need a GUI!

Well Why not using FireFTP with FireFox? Did you try that one? I found it pretty good and use it all the time to update my website!

FireFTP is a good one but it doesn't always work like it should. I know that Bear FTP client often screws up. Usually I stick to the console FTP client.

I see problems with it sometimes. If you transfer a lot of directories and files it will bomb out. Sometimes it doesn't want to copy directories correctly and sometimes it will disconnect for no reason.

Is it possible to use FireFTP as a standalone application?
