Exclamation White screen after logged in

I have a dual boot system with windows xp SP2 and opensuse11.0 with GNOME.I tried to install ATI drivers from opensuse site using 1-click install.By that I downloaded ati.ymp which I installed using Yast Package handler. While Installation was in progress I aborted it because of less speed of downloading and restart the system. But now white coloured screen appear after openSUSE11 started. When I clicked mouse blindly any where on desktop banshee player started. Thus I think my display drivers crashed. What Should I do now? My important data also there. Please suggest some way to get back previous desktop.I tried this:
sax2 -r -m 0=radeon
then also problem remained unsolved.
I have opensuse11.0 bootable DVD.Will it help ?

That is odd. Can you boot without enabling GUI mode?
