Hey,
What is the best p2p software for Linux? If I install Linux, I'd like to download "back-up music" etc ( ) with p2p software.Thanks. (Maybe WINE will let me run Windows-compatible p2p software?) |

I'm rarely using P2P, but when I do, I use FrostWire, which basically is a clone of LimeWire (which exists for Windows) Besides downloading normal files, FrostWire is also able to download torrent-files (I've never tried this feature, but I know it's there) and it has a big chat, where you can chat with all the peers on the network (if you think that's interesting to do - also, I've never used this feature.)

FrostWire? I know that LimeWire is a HORRIBLE program for Windows. I know that there are a lot of trojans, viruses, and worms across that network. But wait, I guess with Linux you don't have to worry about that?
What's the URL to get FrostWire? |
