Default Question about VB

Do you know if vbulletin license can go for as many sites as you want, as long as you buy it? or is it $160 per site?
Thanks a lot!

It is per site. You have to enter the URL the forum is installed on.

It is only worth it if you can make money from the site to pay for it. I only have seen three (this site counts as 1 of the 3) sites that can properly with VB to start with, most of the time people purchase it, do a stock install and it ends up turning into crap. Or its someone that has no idea what they are doing, and ends up completely breaking it.
I knew someone that purchase 2 domains along with the "VB License", sadly, they never realized that the license does in fact expire/need renewed, and when the new person that purchased the company sites, they had to take VB into SMF and it was a PITA (not b/c of SMF either, personally I prefer SMF over VB, unless its taken care of proper).

It depends on what type of license you buy. They have the rental license which does expire but an "owned" license never expires.

I do agree that people who do a stock install without changing even the theme fail to produce a good forum. I like how this forum is integrated with a nice theme though.

Anyway, VB is a great product and well worth the money although it does require a learning curve.
