I'm think about becoming Linux+ certified but I'm not sure that it will benefit me. Has anyone taken the test?
1) Was it hard? How did you study?
2) Did it help you get a job? Do jobs look for this?
3) Anything else?

Never been certified but I can't imagine how this could hurt your job search.

I'm certified and it did help me land a job. You should def. get this if you are looking for a "basis" type job.

Well in life the more you know, the better you go! So why not? I would say go for it.

This would look excellent on a Resume if you intend on being a systems admin. I say go for it! Comptia tests are not that hard.
