Default I hate Windows

I hate Windows. I hate Windows Vista, Xp, 2000, 98, ect. Microsoft has finally created the worst, and at the same time most hyped software to date. Vista is trash. It isn't much of an improvement on Xp in most ways, and in many was is much, much more annoying. I'm going to try to post this thread now, and the Vista machine I'm on right now is going to ask me fifty times if I really wanted to click the mouse button.

Haha, if you hate it so bad why don't you switch to Linux? The Vista OS was a big black-eye for MS. Most people are stilling using XP.

I don't mind Vista so bad and I generally don't hate MS but I prefer Linux or Mac OS X. You should give Linux a shot and see if it works for you.

I'm still using Windows XP, which I think is pretty fine. They haven't worked the kinks out of Vista yet?

Well, if you know how to use Vista well it will not ask you 50 times if you want to click your mouse

It is a hassle just to find where to "turn off" the "ask 50 times" though. That is part of the problem. They made all of these features for it that are hard for the average user to disable. Vista still has a lot of problems with hanging up, rebooting, etc. I think that most devices now have working drivers for it though. Another big problem is the amount of resources that Vista uses. You basically need a new computer to run it.

I've been using Windows all my life and it's given me a lot of problems, but all in all I've been happy with it.

I suppose Windows isn't that bad but they could learn from Linux. Have you used Linux for an extended amount of time?

While many people may not care about Windows being forced down their throat (literally) I can imagine that if people were actually given a system running Vista and some Linux flavor - that they'd go over to Linux... Just my opinion...
