Default Windows free zone?

I notice that you have forum for Mac, BSD, etc but not a forum for Windows, do you have anything against Windows?

Mac OS is a proprietary software just like Windows.

I believe it is because this is a Linux forum in general and most Linux users dislike Windows. Mac is based on BSD which is Unix which is how Linux was derived. I don't know though, I'm not an admin.

I am quite aware of this, but I would have thought we have all outgrown this by now. I used to fell that way about Linux too, but look, here I am in a Linux forum

I run both Windows and Linux actually but I don't think I could talk about Windows much. Why will MS not add the function to mount a Linux filesystem? IMO, they are just loosing customers by trying to "control" the market.

I know what you mean about MS, they are rather horrible, on my Windows Vista, an awful lot of of devices I use on XP will not work, I think they are charging developers for access to info required to develop things like drivers etc.

Sadly, I am still a Windows users despite all that.
