I think that if you read some articles and you are able to type.. you should have no problems. I myself am going to take this challenge and will try and install it (Thanks to v0id)

Actually, there's two Gentoos around.Gentoo Linux and Gentoo/FreeBSD. They're both located here: http://www.gentoo.org/

It depends on what you like the best, FreeBSD or Linux? I've never tried *BSD, so I can't tell you the differences between them.

FreeBSD is extremely stable but there are not as many applications for it. When you make your choice think about how stable you want it (Linux is pretty damn stable) or do you want more applications and support?

Well to say the truth.. I just want to test gentoo.. and figure out if I can install it.
